Subminiature Coaxial Cables - Type SC and Type SS

Subminiature coaxial cables are used when a robust and flexible cable is required. When low conductor resistance is a priority, Type SC is recommended, and Type SC and Type SS are mechanically flexible due to their braided construction. Type SS is recommended when shielding and low heat loss are both important. See technical specifications for SS, SC, and SR types.

CryoCable? - Type CRYC

CryoCable? is a ruggedized 4-wire cable suitable for cryogenic environments to room temperature. The cable is designed around a 32 AWG (203 μm) diameter superconducting wire and consists of an NbTi core (128 μm diameter) with a Cu-10% Ni jacket.

Features

Rugged: The NbTi core is strong and fatigue-resistant, and the 304 stainless steel cable outer braid adds significant strength and compression resistance.

Low heat leakage due to all-metal alloy and Teflon® construction

Solderable: Copper-nickel wire surface is easily soldered with traditional rosin fluxes

Low-temperature compatible: all Teflon® (PFA) insulation is heat strippable for easy preparation
